Just waiting at Sydney airport for my flight to Perth. Only 6 hours till I see my bf!!! So excited :)
So I had a pretty good new years! I wish I was with my bf, but while I’m in NZ, he’s in Bahrain (crazy boy)! I went up the Coromandel with my friends where it just poured with rain. My friend kissed me on the lips and squeezed my boob after getting very drunk! I’m still so mad at him, I don’t particularly want to talk to him but I’m going skydiving tomorrow with him. Rahhhhh!
I’m looking forward to going back to Perth, as much as I love being back home in NZ. I want to get back on track and do the bodyrock 30 day challenge and also eat healthier. I want to focus mainly on my water intake and snacking on healthier things. So I’ll start this challenge on 15th January as I’ll be back then.
I love being able to relax and do what I want over summer! Sims 3 is occupying quite a bit of my time hehe
Exams are done!!!
Whoop exams are finally done! So starting tomorrow I’m only going on my laptop and watching tv after 7 and exercise of some form daily. Will keep this more updated now!
Went out for Italian for dinner to celebrate! Not healthy at all and I feel so bloated now. So looking forward to eating better over the next few weeks.
In less than a month I’ll be back in New Zealand and seeing my family so incredibly excited about that!
So today
I will work this morning, study my ass off this afternoon for exam on Saturday, and then go to yoga at 7!
Food!
I’m never the person to deprive myself of food. If I’m hungry I will eat! I was brought up not having to finish my plate of food, so my sense of being full is pretty good. Since moving out of home a few years ago I have developed a larger love of food! This hasn’t made me gain weight (yet), but my portion sizes are definitely getting bigger! I have been focusing on this lately.
Instead of getting a whole block of chocolate, when we do the groceries I get a small chocolate bar to last me. And it really works! Well at least some of my cravings are gone.
If to lose weight I had to give up the food I love, I don’t think I could do it. I mean this is one of my joys in life, why deprive myself? I don’t have any hobbies except for reading, so making delicious food is definitely one of my hobbies. Still room for improvement in my cooking though!
I’ve been so busy this week! Sorry about lack of posts… Next week is the start of study week so will be spending more time procrastinating then :D.
At uni I’m doing a bachelor of science with a chemistry major, and before I was going to do psychology major as well, but today I decided I will probably go with a statistics major! I’m halfway through my degree but it won’t require any more units.
I haven’t really been that motivated with my exercise this week, but I’ve really focused on eating properly! I’m counting calories on my phone, but mainly just to control my portion sizes. I’m actually finally sitting down and listening to my body! So next week my goal is to go to yoga twice (which for some reason makes me really nervous, going there that is) and do 2 zuzana workouts, probably the 2 new ones! It should be easier to organise my days when I’m on study leave.
I will also hopefully get some before pictures up, mainly just so I’ve got something to work towards. I’m not too worried about my weight, I just want some of the extra fat to go!
I’m also going to start posting photo’s of some of my meals, which might not sometimes be the healthiest, but having smaller portions of it let me still have the satisfaction of delicious food!

It’s been such a good week this week! I’ve mostly stuck to my calorie plan, actually went to yoga (I never realized how hard it was, I sweated so much) and did a bodyrock workout! The supervisor at work is away so I’m doing her job too. Apparently there was a massive thunderstorm last night which I completely slept through. Very unlike me; usually I’m a very light sleeper! I love being productive but it’s very tiring.
At least tomorrows a public holiday so I finally get to sleep in :) and were having a BBQ for dinner with the people from work tomorrow night which should be fun!
We’re just off to watch that movie in time, hopefully it’s good!
Waking up early
Having to wake up early for uni every day is so tiring! I just find it hard keeping my eyes awake at first, but it makes me feel better for the rest of the day at least :)
